حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَهِلَالُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَا: نَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: نَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

هَشِشْتُ فَقَبَّلْتُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: لَقَدْ فَعَلْتُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْرًا عَظِيمًا، قَالَ: " مَا هُوَ ؟ قُلْتُ: هَشِشْتُ فَقَبَّلْتُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ، قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ مَضْمَضْتَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ ؟ قُلْتُ: إِذَنْ لَا يَضُرُّ، قَالَ: " فَفِيمَ

✧ I became cheerful and kissed while I was fasting. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: “I have done a great thing today.” He said: “What is it?” I said: “I became cheerful and kissed while I was fasting.” He said: “What do you think if you rinse your mouth with water?” I said: “Then it would not harm.” He said: “So then what?”
