✧ Amir b. Abdullah b. al-Zubayr from his father

حَدَّثَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ: نَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

" نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: وَمَا لأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى إِلا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَى وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ

Translation

✧ This verse was revealed: 'And no one has with him any favor to be repaid, except seeking the countenance of his Lord, the Most High. And he will surely be satisfied' concerning Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
