حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: نَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: نَا هُنَيْدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَعْطَانِي الدَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " اذْهَبْ فَغَيِّبْهُ " فَذَهَبْتُ فَشَرِبْتُهُ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لِي: " مَا صَنَعْتَ بِهِ ؟ " قُلْتُ غَيَّبْتُهُ قَالَ: " لَعَلَّكَ شَرِبْتَهُ ؟ " قُلْتُ: شَرِبْتُهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had himself cupped and gave me the blood and said: 'Go and dispose of it.' I went and drank it. Then I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said to me: 'What did you do with it?' I said: 'I disposed of it.' He said: 'Perhaps you drank it?' I said: 'I drank it.'
