✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, 'What is Islam?' He replied, 'That you bear witness that there is no deity but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, that you establish the prayer, give the zakat, fast Ramadan, and perform the Hajj to the House.' He said, 'If I do that, then I have become a Muslim?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'You have spoken the truth, O Messenger of Allah. What is faith (iman)?' He said, 'That you believe in Allah, the Last Day, the resurrection after death, Paradise and Hell, and the divine decree, all of it, its good and its evil.' He said, 'If I do that, then I am a believer?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'You have spoken the truth.'
