حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ لِلْمَلَكِ لَمَّةً، وَلِلشَّيْطَانِ لَمَّةً، فَلَمَّةُ الْمَلَكِ إِيعَادُ الْخَيْرِ وَتَحْذِيرٌ مِنَ الشَّرِّ، وَلَمَّةُ الشَّيْطَانِ إِيعَادُ الشَّرِّ، أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: وَتَحْذِيرٌ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ

✧ The angel has a touch, and Satan has a touch. The angel's touch is promising good and warning against evil, and Satan's touch is promising evil—I think he said—and warning against good.
