حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ: نَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَهْبٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَأَبِي جَنْدَلٍ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ:
" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ

يرويه ابن جريج عن أبي بكر بن عبد الله عن عبد الملك بن سعيد عن حكيم بن حزام عن بلال وقيل عن ابن جريج عن سعيد بن عبد الملك وهو وهم وروي هذا الحديث عن أبي جندل بن سهيل بن عمرو عن بلال حدث به عنه محمد بن سيرين واختلف عنه فرواه قتادة عن محمد بن سيرين عن أبي جندل عن بلال قاله عمر بن عامر عنه وخالفه هشام فرواه عن محمد بن سيرين عن بعض أصحابه عن بلال وقيل عن الجريري عن ابن سيرين عن رجل رأى بلالا ورواه يونس بن عبيد عن ابن سيرين عن بلال مرسلا وروى هذا الحديث أبو قلابة واختلف عنه فرواه مطر الوراق عن أبي قلابة عن أبي الأشعث الصنعاني عن أبي جندل بن سهيل عن بلال قال ذلك مروان بن محمد عن سعيد بن بشير عنه وقاله أبو الحفص التنيسي وقال الوليد بن مسلم عن سعيد بن بشير عن مطر عن أبي قلابة عن أبي الأشعث أن أبا جندل بن سهيل والحارث بن معاوية مرا على بلال فسألاه عن المسح ورواه أيوب السختياني عن أبي قلابة عن أبي إدريس عن بلال وخالفه عبد الوهاب الثقفي ومعمر وسعيد بن أبي عروبة وحماد بن زيد فرووه عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة عن بلال مرسلا وكذلك رواه خالد الحذاء عن أبي قلابة عن بلال وقيل عن أبي قلابة عن رجل غير مسمى عن بلال ورواه يحيى بن أبي إسحاق عن أبي قلابة عن بلال مرسلا وروى هذا الحديث مكحول واختلف عنه فرواه ثابت بن ثوبان والعلاء بن الحارث عن مكحول عن أبي جندل بن سهيل والحارث بن معاوية عن بلال قال ذلك العلاء بن الحارث وقال ابن ثوبان سهيل بن أبي جندل وقول العلاء بن الحارث أشبه بالصواب

Sīrīn related it from him, and there is disagreement about him. Qatādah narrated it from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, from Abū Jandal, from Bilāl; ʿUmar b. ʿĀmir said this from him. Hishām contradicted him and narrated it from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, from some of his companions, from Bilāl. It is also said: from al-Jurayrī, from Ibn Sīrīn, from a man who saw Bilāl. Yūnus b. ʿUbayd narrated it from Ibn Sīrīn, from Bilāl, as a mursal report. Abū Qilābah also narrated this hadith, and there is disagreement about him. Maṭar al-Warrāq narrated it from Abū Qilābah, from Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī, from Abū Jandal b. Suhayl, from Bilāl; Marwān b. Muḥammad said that from Saʿīd b. Bashīr, from him, and Abū al-Ḥafṣ al-Tinnīsī said it as well. Al-Walīd b. Muslim said, from Saʿīd b. Bashīr, from Maṭar, from Abū Qilābah, from Abū al-Ashʿath: that Abū Jandal b. Suhayl and al-Ḥārith b. Muʿāwiyah passed by Bilāl and asked him about wiping over the socks. Ayyūb al-Sakhtiyānī narrated it from Abū Qilābah, from Abū Idrīs, from Bilāl. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī, Maʿmar, Saʿīd b. Abī ʿArūbah and Ḥammād b. Zayd contradicted him and narrated it from Ayyūb, from Abū Qilābah, from Bilāl, as a mursal report. Likewise Khālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ narrated it from Abū Qilābah, from Bilāl. It is also said: from Abū Qilābah, from an unnamed man, from Bilāl. Yaḥyā b. Abī Isḥāq narrated it from Abū Qilābah, from Bilāl, as a mursal report. Makḥūl also narrated this hadith, and there is disagreement about him. Thābit b. Thawbān and al-ʿAlāʾ b. al-Ḥārith narrated it from Makḥūl, from Abū Jandal b. Suhayl and al-Ḥārith b. Muʿāwiyah, from Bilāl; al-ʿAlāʾ b. al-Ḥārith said this. Ibn Thawbān said "Suhayl b. Abī Jandal". The statement of al-ʿAlāʾ b. al-Ḥārith is closer to being correct.
