machine translationHe said: Hāshim b. Hāshim narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Usāmah narrated it from Hāshim b. Hāshim, from ʿĀmir b. Saʿd, from Saʿd. Ibn Numayr differed from him and narrated it from Hāshim, from ʿĀʾishah bint Saʿd, from her father. Both are trustworthy (thiqah), and perhaps Hāshim heard it from both of them. And God knows best.

Bilāl, Ḥātim b. Ismāʿīl and Fulayḥ b. Sulaymān narrated it from him, and they said: from ʿĀmir b. Saʿd, from Saʿd. Ibrāhīm b. Abī Yaḥyā differed from them and narrated it from Abū Ṭuwālah, from ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz, from ʿĀmir b. Saʿd; ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz related it from his father. Abū Muṣʿab, whose name is ʿAbd al-Salām b. Ḥafṣ, and Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Mujabbir narrated it from Abū Ṭuwālah that the people left ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz and reported that ʿĀmir b.
