Musnad al-Bazzar 1153

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ: نَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: نَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ

بِالنَّبَاوَةِ أَوْ بِالنَّبَاةِ يَقُولُ: يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَعْرِفُوا لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ بِمَ ؟ قَالَ: بِالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ، وَالثَّنَاءِ السَّيِّئِ

Translation

✧ At al-Nabawah or al-Nabah, he said: 'Soon you will recognize the people of Paradise from the people of the Fire.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, by what?' He said: 'By good praise and evil praise.'
