حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ قَالَ: نَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الْعَبْدِ اسْتِخَارَتُهُ رَبَّهُ وَرِضَاهُ بِمَا قَضَى، وَمِنْ شَقَاءِ الْعَبْدِ تَرْكُهُ الِاسْتِخَارَةَ وَسَخَطُهُ مَا قَضَى اللهُ أَوْ بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ

✧ Among the happiness of a servant is his asking his Lord for guidance and his contentment with what He has decreed, and among the misery of a servant is his abandoning the asking for guidance and his displeasure with what Allah has decreed, or after the decree.
