machine translationIt is narrated by al-ʿAbbās b. Dharīḥ from Muḥammad b. Saʿd from his father. Abū Shaybah Ibrāhīm b. ʿUthmān transmitted it from him. It is also said: from Shuʿbah from al-ʿAbbās b. Dharīḥ. Abū Isḥāq al-Shaybānī narrated it from Abū Bakr b. Abī Mūsā from Muḥammad b. Saʿd from his father; Muḥammad b. Bukayr al-Ḥaḍramī said that from Khālid al-Wāsiṭī from al-Shaybānī. Saʿīd b. Manṣūr contradicted him and narrated it from Khālid as a mursal report, not mentioning Saʿd in it. Wāʾil b. Dāwūd also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: Marwān al-Fazārī narrated it from Wāʾil from Muḥammad b. Saʿd from Saʿd from the Prophet ﷺ. Al-Jarrāḥ b. al-Ḍaḥḥāk contradicted him and narrated it from Wāʾil from Muṣʿab b. Saʿd from Saʿd. The correct version is Muḥammad b. Saʿd.
