✧ I said to Aishah: O Mother of the Believers, a man divorced his wife three times, and she married another man, and she threw her headcover down in front of him, then he divorced her. Is she lawful for the first husband? She said: O son of my sister, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was asked about the like of what you asked me, and he said: She is not lawful for the latter until he tastes her sweetness (i.e., has intercourse with her).
