( وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قَالَ:
ابْتَغُوا بِأَمْوَالِ الْيَتَامَى؛ لَا تَأْكُلُهَا الصَّدَقَةُ

رواه الحسين المعلم عن مكحول عن عمرو بن شعيب عن سعيد بن المسيب عن عمر قوله وخالفه عمرو بن دينار واختلف عنه فقال ابن عيينة عن عمرو بن شعيب عن عمر لم يذكر ابن المسيب وخالفه حماد بن زيد فرواه عن عمرو بن دينار عن مكحول عن عمر ولم يذكر فيه عمرو بن شعيب ولا ابن المسيب ورواه المثنى بن الصباح عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده وكذلك رواه مندل بن علي عن الشيباني عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده وحديث عمر أصح
