( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مِحْجَنٍ أَوِ ابْنَ مِحْجَنٍ - وَكَانَ خَادِمًا لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ - قَالَ:
قَدِمَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ ؓ: كَيْفَ مَتْجَرُ أَرْضِكَ ؟ فَإِنَّ عِنْدِيَ مَالَ يَتِيمٍ قَدْ كَادَتِ الزَّكَاةُ أَنْ تُفْنِيَهُ، قَالَ: فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيْهِ
