( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَنْبَأَ شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ثَعْلَبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْقُرَظِيُّ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قَالَ:

كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ حِينَ يَجْلِسَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ تَأْذِينَهُ وَيَتَكَلَّمُ عُمَرُ، فَإِذَا تَكَلَّمَ عُمَرُ انْقَطَعَ حَدِيثُنَا فَصَمَتْنَا فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ الْإِمَامُ خُطْبَتَهُ
