( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو نَصْرٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ، وَثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، ثَنَا قَابُوسُ بْنُ أَبِي ظِبْيَانَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ:

مَرَّ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فِي مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ، فَلَحِقَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، مَا رَكَعْتَ إِلَّا رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً، قَالَ: هُوَ التَّطَوُّعُ، فَمَنْ شَاءَ زَادَ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ نَقَصَ
