( أَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبِرْتِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ:
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَمَّا كَانَ بَدْءُ هَذِهِ الْحَصْبَاءِ الَّتِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ مُطِرْنَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَخَرَجْنَا لِصَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ، فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَمُرُّ عَلَى الْبَطْحَاءِ فَيَجْعَلُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ مِنَ الْحَصْبَاءِ، فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ - قَالَ - فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاكَ قَالَ: مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا الْبِسَاطَ. فَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَوَّلُ بَدْئِهِ
