( أَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبِرْتِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: مَا كَانَ بَدْءُ هَذَا الزَّعْفَرَانِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ؟ قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ: غَيْرُ هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا. فَسَمِعَ بِذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ فَجَاءَ بِزَعْفَرَانٍ فَحَكَّهَا ثُمَّ طَلَى بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ مَكَانَهَا، فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَلِكَ قَالَ: " هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِ. قَالَ: وَصَنَعَهُ النَّاسُ
