( كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بُرْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ، عَنْ غُضَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: إِنَّا نَبْدُو فَنَكُونُ فِي الْأَبْنِيَةِ، فَإِنْ خَرَجْتُ قَرَرْتُ، وَإِنْ خَرَجَتِ امْرَأَتِي قَرَّتْ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: اقْطَعْ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهَا ثَوْبًا، ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمَا
