وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ هُوَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَنَافِعٍ مَوْلَى بْنِ عُمَرَ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ الْمَصَاحِفَ فِي زَمَانِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَاسْتَكْتَبَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عُمَرَ مُصْحَفًا لَهَا فَقَالَتْ لِي: أَيْ بُنَيَّ إِذَا انْتَهَيْتَ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاةِ الْوُسْطَى فَلَا تَكْتُبْهَا حَتَّى تَأْتِيَنِي فَأُمْلِيَهَا عَلَيْكَ كَمَا حَفِظْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا حَمَلْتُ الْوَرَقَةَ وَالدَّوَاةَ حَتَّى جِئْتُهَا فَقَالَتِ: اكْتُبْ حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى هِيَ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا لِلهِ قَانِتِينَ
