( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ:
إِذَا مَاتَ الْمُكَاتَبُ وَتَرَكَ مَالًا فَهُوَ لِمَوَالِيهِ وَلَيْسَ لِوَرَثَتِهِ شَيْءٌ
