( وَأَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ، أَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى ثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْعَتَمَةِ حَتَّى نَادَاهُ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ: الصَّلَاةَ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ. فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: " مَا يَنْتَظِرُهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ غَيْرُكُمْ ". وَلَا تُصَلَّى يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَكَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ الْعَتَمَةَ فِيمَا بَيْنَ أَنْ يَغِيبَ شَفَقُ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلِ
