وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الدَّانَاجِ، عَنْ حُضَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ وَعْلَةَ:
أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ عُقْبَةَ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ: أَزِيدُكُمْ ؟ فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ ؓ. فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ ؓ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلَافَتِهِ أَرْبَعِينَ، ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا عُمَرُ ثَمَانِينَ، وَكُلٌّ سُنَّةٌ
