(And Abū Zakariyyā informed us) Abū Zakariyyā said: Abū al-ʿAbbās narrated to us, he said: al-Rabīʿ informed us, he said: al-Shāfiʿī informed us, he said: Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah informed us, from ʿAmr, from Ṭāwūs, from the Prophet ﷺ, the like of the hadith of Mālik. This mursal report strengthens the first, and it has been narrated through another route. And it was narrated from Ibn Kāsib, from Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah with his chain, connected, mentioning Ibn ʿAbbās in it, but that is not sound.
