( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قُوهِيَارَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّعْدِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ بَكَّارُ بْنُ الْخَصِيبِ، ثَنَا حَبِيبٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ:
بَيْنَمَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ مُضْطَجِعٌ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ إِذْ جَاءَ إِنْسَانٌ فَأَخَذَ بُرْدَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ رَأْسِهِ، فَأَتَى بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ بِقَطْعِهِ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَعْفُو عَنْهُ أَوْ أَتَجَاوَزُ. قَالَ: فَهَلَّا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنَا بِهِ أَبَا وَهْبٍ
