أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ:

أَتَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، إِنَّا نَجْلِسُ إِلَى أَئِمَّتِنَا هَؤُلَاءِ فَيَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِالْكَلَامِ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الْحَقَّ غَيْرُهُ، فَنُصَدِّقُهُمْ، وَيَقْضُونَ بِالْجَوْرِ فَنُقَوِّيهِمْ، وَنُحَسِّنُهُ لَهُمْ، فَكَيْفَ تَرَى فِي ذَلِكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَعُدُّ هَذَا النِّفَاقَ، فَلَا أَدْرِي كَيْفَ هُوَ عِنْدَكُمْ
