( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، نَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرًا يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ الْأَعْرَجُ قَالَ:

تَزَوَّجْتُ أُمَّ وَلَدِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَدَعَانِي ابْنُهُ وَدَعَا غُلَامَيْنِ لَهُ فَرَبَطُونِي وَضَرَبُونِي بِسِيَاطٍ وَقَالُوا: لَتُطَلِّقَنَّهَا أَوْ لَنَفْعَلَنَّ وَلَنَفْعَلَنَّ فَطَلَّقْتُهَا ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، وَابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ فَلَمْ يَرَيَاهُ شَيْئًا
