( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ يَعْنِي الْحَافِظَ النَّيْسَابُورِيَّ، أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ ؓ فَرَضَ لِأَهْلِ بَدْرٍ خَمْسَةَ آلَافٍ، وَقَالَ: لَأُفَضِّلَنَّهُمْ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ
