machine translationThis is a hadith narrated by Rishdīn b. Saʿd from Muʿāwiyah b. Ṣāliḥ from Rāshid from Abū Umāmah as a raised report (marfūʿ). But al-Aḥwaṣ b. Ḥakīm contradicted him and narrated it from Rāshid b. Saʿd as a mursal report from the Prophet ﷺ. Abū Usāmah said, from al-Aḥwaṣ, from Rāshid, that it was his own statement, and he did not carry it beyond Rāshid. Al-Dāraquṭnī said: the hadith is not established.

machine translationIn sum, the exception mentioned is weak, and it is not permissible to use it as evidence, because it is either mursal or weak (ḍaʿīf).
