( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ: عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ بِالْكُوفَةِ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ:
أَنَّ قَوْمًا اخْتَصَمُوا فِي خُصٍّ لَهُمْ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ، فَقَضَى بَيْنَهُمْ: أَنْ يُنْظَرَ أَيُّهُمْ كَانَ أَقْرَبَ مِنَ الْقُمَاطِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ
