حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ

كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ وَهُمْ يَتَوَضَّؤُونَ فِي الْمِطْهَرَةِ فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ: أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ؛ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَقُولُ: وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ.

Translation

✧ Abu Hurayrah used to come upon people while they were performing ablution at the water source and say to them: 'Perform ablution thoroughly, perform ablution thoroughly; for I heard Abu al-Qasim say: "Woe to the heels from the Fire!"
