machine translationYūnus b. ʿUbayd narrated it from ʿAṭāʾ b. Farrūkh. Yūnus also has two other chains for it: from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah, as Mughīrah b. Muslim said from Yūnus; and from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, as Ibrāhīm b. Ṭahmān said from Yūnus. It was also said, from Yūnus, from a man, from al-Maqburī. The ḥadīth of ʿAṭāʾ b. Farrūkh is the best known of them from him, and all of them are preserved (maḥfūẓ) from Yūnus. ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated this ḥadīth from Yūnus, from ʿUthmān b. ʿUbayd al-Khuzāʿī, from ʿUthmān, but he was not corroborated in this statement.
