قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ

حَدّثَنِي أَبِي بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ فِي حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ؛ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَدْ جَمَعَ حَدِيثَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ فَحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ فِي حَدِيثِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بِتَمَامِهِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad

✧ My father narrated this hadith to me in the Musnad within the hadith of al-Zuhri from Salim, because he had gathered the hadith of al-Zuhri from Salim and narrated it to us in the hadith of Salim from Muhammad b. Yazid in its entirety, and in the hadith of Abbad from Abbad b. al-Awwam.
