✧ I and my uncle 'Alqamah entered upon Abdullah b. Mas'ud at midday. He said: He stood up for Zuhr to pray, so we stood behind him. He took my hand and my uncle's hand, then placed one of us on his right and the other on his left, then he stood between us, so we formed a single row behind him. He said: Then he said: This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do when they were three. He said: He led us in prayer, and when he bowed, he clasped his hands together and pressed his upper arms to his thighs, and put his palms between his knees. He said: When he said the salam, he turned to us and said: There will be imams who delay the prayer from its times. If they do that, do not wait with them for it, and make the prayer with them a supererogatory one.
