✧ While we were with him on Friday in the mosque of Kufa (and 'Ammar b. Yasir was governor of Kufa on behalf of 'Umar b. al-Khattab, and Abdullah b. Mas'ud was in charge of the treasury), Abdullah b. Mas'ud looked at the shadow and saw it the length of a sandal strap, so he said: If your companion follows the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ, he will come out now. He said: By Allah, Abdullah b. Mas'ud had barely finished speaking when 'Ammar b. Yasir came out saying: The prayer!
