حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍعَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ.

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. ʿAmr b. Maymūnʿan ʿUmar
  5. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ He used to seek refuge from miserliness, cowardice, the punishment of the grave, the worst of life, and the trial of the chest.
