حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ بَكْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ، وَخَلْفَهُ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، فَاسْتَسْقَى، فَسَقَيْنَاهُ نَبِيذًا فَشَرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَ فَضْلَهُ أُسَامَةَ [بْنَ زَيْدٍ]، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ وَأَجْمَلْتُمْ، فَكَذَلِكَ فَافْعَلُوا، فَنَحْنُ لَا نُرِيدُ أَنْ نُغَيِّرَ ذَلِكَ
Translation

✧ But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque while he was on his camel, with Usamah b. Zayd behind him. He asked for water, and we gave him nabidh (a drink) to drink, and he drank. Then he handed the remainder to Usamah b. Zayd and said: “You have acted well and beautifully, so do likewise.” Thus we do not wish to change that.
