حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى عَنْ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ قَالَتْ
أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَرَّبْنَا إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا، فَكَانَ بَعْضُ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ صَائِمًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَ الصَّائِمِ الطَّعَامُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came to us, and we brought food near to him. Some of those with him were fasting, so the Prophet ﷺ said: When food is eaten in the presence of the fasting person, the angels pray for blessing upon him.
