machine translationBudayl b. Maysarah narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Hishām al-Dastuwāʾī and Abū ʿĀmir Ṣāliḥ b. Rustum al-Khazzāz narrated it from Budayl, from Ṣafiyyah, from the mother of a child (umm walad) of Shaybah. Ḥammād b. Zayd differed from them and narrated it from Budayl, from al-Mughīrah b. Ḥakīm, from Ṣafiyyah, from the mother of a child (umm walad) of Shaybah. Ḥammād's version is more likely (ashbah).
