✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as pilgrims, until when we were at al-‘Arj, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dismounted. ‘A’ishah sat beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I sat beside my father. The riding camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the riding camel of Abu Bakr were one, with the servant of Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr sat waiting for him to appear, and he appeared without his camel. He said, "Where is your camel?" He said, "I lost it last night." Abu Bakr said, "One camel, and you lose it?" He began to beat him while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled and said, "Look at this man in ihram and what he is doing!"
