✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came after the day had risen on the day of the conquest, and he ordered a garment and it was screened over him, and he performed ghusl, then he stood and prayed eight rak'ahs. I do not know whether his standing in them was longer, or his bowing, or his prostration; all of that from him was close in length. She said: I did not see him pray it before or after.

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ibn Jurayj narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith b. Nawfal, from his father, from Umm Hāniʾ, and this is closer to being correct. Makḥūl narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from Umm Hāniʾ. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: Muḥammad b. Faḍāʾ narrated it from Ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿUbaydullāh b. Abī Yazīd, from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, from Umm Hāniʾ. But the companions of Ibn ʿUyaynah disagreed with him and narrated it from him, from Yazīd b. Abī Ziyād, from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, and this is the correct one. Likewise Mūsā b. Aʿyun and Jarīr b. ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd narrated it from Yazīd b. Abī Ziyād.
