حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ مَا كُنْتَ تُصَلِّيهَا ! قَالَ: قَدِمَ وَفْدُ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ فَحَبَسُونِي عَنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أَرْكَعُهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came in to me after the afternoon prayer and prayed two rak‘ahs. I said: “O Messenger of God, what is this prayer? You did not used to pray it!” He said: “The delegation of Banu Tamim arrived and kept me from the two rak‘ahs I used to pray after the noon prayer.”
