حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ سَاهِمُ الْوَجْهِ قَالَتْ: فَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَجَعٍ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، مَا لَكَ سَاهِمُ الْوَجْهِ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ أَجْلِ الدَّنَانِيرِ السَّبْعَةِ الَّتِي أَتَتْنَا أَمْسِ، أَمْسَيْنَا وَهِيَ فِي خُصْمِ الْفِرَاشِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came in to me with a distressed face. She said: I thought it was because of some pain, so I said: “O Prophet of God, why is your face distressed?” He said: “Because of the seven dinars that came to us yesterday; we spent the evening while they were still in the corner of the bed.”
