✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ standing at the door of my room while the Abyssinians were playing with their spears, and he was screening me with his cloak so that I could watch their play. Then he would remain standing until I was the one who turned away.

machine translationThe hadith of ʿĀʾishah is more authentic than the hadith of Nabhān, because Nabhān is not known for transmitting knowledge and narrates only two hadiths: this one, and the one about the mukātab, that if he has with him what he needs to pay, his mistress must veil herself from him. So the hadith of Nabhān is not to be acted upon, because it conflicts with the established hadiths.
