حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَصُومُ شَهْرًا كُلَّهُ ؟ قَالَتْ: مَا عَلِمْتُهُ صَامَ شَهْرًا كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يُفْطِرَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا رَمَضَانَ، وَلَا أَفْطَرَ شَهْرًا كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يَصُومَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ - أَوْ لِسَبِيلِهِ - ﷺ

✧ I asked Aishah: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever fast an entire month? She said: I do not know that he fasted an entire month except Ramadan, nor that he broke fast for an entire month without fasting any of it, until he passed away ﷺ.
