✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the Farewell Pilgrimage and stopped at the tree. He said: 'Whoever wishes should enter ihram for Umrah, and whoever wishes should enter ihram for Hajj.' Aishah said: Some of them entered ihram for Umrah, and some of them entered ihram for Hajj. She said: I was among those who entered ihram for Umrah. The Day of Arafah came upon me while I was menstruating, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: 'Undo your hair and comb it, and abandon your Umrah, and enter ihram for Hajj.' Then when it was the night of al-Hasbah, he ordered me, and I performed an Umrah in place of the Umrah I had abandoned.
