حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ يَأْتِينِي صَوَاحِبِي، فَكُنَّ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْهُ، فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي
Translation

✧ I used to play with dolls during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and my friends would come to me. When they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they would shy away from him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would send them to me to play with me.
