✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage. Some of us entered ihram for Hajj, and some of us entered ihram for Umrah, and he offered a sacrificial animal. The Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever entered ihram for Umrah and did not offer a sacrificial animal, let him exit ihram. Whoever entered ihram for Umrah and offered a sacrificial animal, let him not exit ihram. Whoever entered ihram for Hajj, let him complete his Hajj. Aishah said: I was among those who entered ihram for Umrah.

machine translationSomeone else claimed that this is a mistake on the part of ʿUrwah, and that the correct version is the narration of al-Aswad, al-Qāsim and ʿAmrah from her, that she entered the state of iḥrām for Ḥajj alone (ifrād).
