حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ إِلَّا الْمُرَابِطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِ أَجْرُهُ حَتَّى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيُوقَى فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Every deceased person's deeds are sealed, except for the murabit (frontier guard) in the path of God; his reward continues for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he is protected from the trial of the grave.
