حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هَانِئِ بْنُ هَانِئٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِقِلَادَةٍ فِيهَا ذَهَبٌوَخَرَزٌ تُبَاعُ وَهِيَ مِنَ الْغَنَائِمِ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالذَّهَبِ الَّذِي فِي الْقِلَادَةِ فَنُزِعَ وَحْدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ

Translation

✧ A necklace containing gold and beads, which was part of the spoils of war, was brought to the Prophet ﷺ to be sold. The Prophet ﷺ commanded that the gold in the necklace be removed by itself, then said, 'Gold for gold, weight for weight.'
