✧ He saw Abu Rafi', the freedman of the Prophet ﷺ, pass by Hasan b. Ali while Hasan was praying standing and had tied his braid at the back of his neck. Abu Rafi' untied it, and Hasan turned to him angrily. Abu Rafi' said: "Attend to your prayer and do not be angry, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'That is the devil's share' — meaning the place where his braid was tied."

machine translationIbn Jurayj narrates it from ʿImrān b. Mūsā, who is the brother of Ayyūb b. Mūsā b. ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Rāfiʿ. Mukhawwal b. Rāshid narrated it from Abū Saʿīd al-Madanī, who is Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Rāfiʿ, and he did not say in it "from his father". Zuhayr b. Muʿāwiyah and Shuʿbah said that from Mukhawwal. There is disagreement about al-Thawrī: Muʾammal b. Ismāʿīl narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Mukhawwal, from Abū Saʿīd, from Abū Rāfiʿ, from Umm Salamah, and he erred in mentioning Umm Salamah in it, while others do not mention Umm Salamah in it. The ḥadīth of ʿImrān b. Mūsā is the soundest of them in chain.
